Product Description
These soothing acupressure heel seats are clinically proven to help alleviate the pain of plantar fasciitis and other heel, arch and foot discomforts. They feature a patented "fasciitis bar" that supports and applies acupressure to the exact spot where the heel meets the arch to redistribute the heel's natural fat pad for enhanced cushioning power, re-stretch the plantar fascia, and help prevent the partial mid-foot collapse that leads to excessive pain. They flex as you walk or run, providing the right amount of relief without interfering with the fit of your shoes. Made in USA of soft, patented Kraton™. Includes 1 pair. Specify size: Medium (Women's shoe size 7-10; Men's 5-8) or Large (Women's shoe size 11-13; Men's 9-12).

5 out of 5 stars Amazing, Instant Relief!   August 27, 2010
MuziKween (Spring, TX United States)
I suffered with PF for over 2 years. I got shots, went to therapy at the podiatrist, wasted $250 on hard orthotics that were painful and did not help! I even spent over $1000 for ESWT treatment on my heel. So, when the other heel started to hurt, I bought these and the pain went away. I'm a fitness trainer, so I'm constantly on my feet. I walk 4 miles a day also and I have no more pain. DON'T waste money on orthotics from your Podiatrist! They rarely ever work, insurance won't cover the cost (no matter what they tell you in the office) and they are made from a hard plastic material and are not comfortable! TRY THESE FIRST! I believe they are amazing! I have not had any heel pain after wearing these over a year. I'm ordering my second pair!

4 out of 5 stars Painful at first   August 18, 2010
Amy_Crenshaw
I started having plantar fasciitis pain about two months ago and, after trying stretching and cutting back on walking (to my dogs' despair) without seeing much real improvement, I bought the Heel Seats. I've been wearing them for about three weeks and I've finally gotten to the point where I can almost forget I'm wearing them. The first week or so was the hardest. The manufacturer states that these inserts will feel "unusual." That's an understatement--they just hurt, at least in the beginning. I would suggest breaking your feet in gradually. After one day of wearing them for several hours, I thought I had bruised the underside of my foot, so I didn't wear them at all the next day, but the day after that, I was fine.

That said, I can now wear them the entire day (and I spend most of each day on my feet), and I have not had any plantar fasciitis pain or inflammation for the last two weeks. The ridge that is built into the inserts is what is uncomfortable/painful, but it is that accupressure that makes them work.

The inserts are made of a flexible rubber, which the manufacturer rates a 4 out of 5 (5 being the hardest rubber), but I did not find them too hard, and the rubber makes them really easy to clean.

They worked for me. The only reason I took off one star is for the initial pain I had to endure, which was almost as bad as the plantar fasciitis pain. In the end, though, it was worth it to stick it out.

3 out of 5 stars Get a medical opinion first...?   August 7, 2010

Even though the product does provide temporary relief...do not wear for extended periods......you might want a medical opinion on your needs for plantars faciitis...sometimes an arch support may do the trick...R.M

5 out of 5 stars Heel pain GONE!   July 26, 2010
kmbristol
I had heel pain that I think was from plantar fasciitis. After a short time of using heel seats my heel pain is completely gone. I can run again. Yay!!

5 out of 5 stars Helps with heel pain   July 23, 2010
Tex Styl Smoker (Little Rock, AR)
I've had plantar faciitis for 4 years and it flared up again. Doctor recommended this product, I bought it, and after wearing for a few weeks I can actually walk the mornings after I run. Before wearing the heel cups each step getting out of bed was painful the morning after a run. Considering buying another pair for other shoes.
