Great Value July 28, 2010 Ramsey2314 (Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are a really complete vitamin for an athlete. Split the dose into three times daily if you are a bigger guy, like over 200 pounds. Smaller guys can get away with one or two in a day. Dont be surprised when your Pee is Neon colored! The only bad thing I can think of with these is that they smell awful. I mean really bad...I had one in my shirt pocket while at work so I would remember to take it with my lunch and I kept smelling it thinking wow what is that horrible smell? smells like my Vitamins...Duh! They are not the biggest pills ever, so they are pretty easy to swallow. They can leave a pretty nasty taste if you down them with water...maybe a bit of juice would do the trick. Anyway, for the money these are a great vitamin with LOTS of essential things a weightlifter needs to be getting...In my opinion its a way better idea than taking 22 pills a day with Animal Paks. No thank you. Ill eat clean and use Opti-Men. Thanks.
Multi-Review July 18, 2010 kat06014 Have used the ON brand before, and for the money and quantity there is really no better multi-vitamin out there!
Didnt even recieve the correct order. June 16, 2010 Sarah N. Wadsworth 0 out of 17 found this review helpful
I paid for this product but actually received something completely different. It is a huge inconvenience.
Very good but not the best. May 27, 2010 R. Morel (Santo Domngo, Dominican Republic) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I used this multivitamin product for a while and I cant complain about its perceived quality, but I think there are better options.
I changed to Life Extension Two per day because it is regarded as a very high quality product and when I saw the nutrition facts it was evident it was a much better product.
I think Opti-Men is a very good formula and its performance/price ratio is good when compared to other available brands.
I need to suggest that you be careul about multivitamin formulas "for men". Do some research about the selenium and its impact on prostate cancer. There was a time when doctors believed high doses of it helped prevent and even combat the desease. HAppens that it is a proper balance of the element that provides the benefits, and high doses have been found to put you at higher risk.
I am not a doctor but I saw several papers about this. Do some research or simply ask your doctor.
Very Potent, Doubt you need 3 a day though! May 6, 2010 J. D. Gutierrez (Minneapolis, MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So potent, my urine turned neon yellow from the extra vitamins my body didnt need to abosrb because it was getting enough from the pills. Took like 2 days though, so now I know im good and reduced from 3 to 2. I guess you can take 3, but I take 2. Great for everyday people and those who workout like me.
