If you buy this as a gift, make sure you buy the batteries required for it otherwise it will just sit there. For $[...], you kind of get what you pay for.

I was in need of an inexpensive gift. The recipient was someone holding down two jobs, on their feet all day long. I thought this was a fitting gift. As a previous reviewer posted, it does not massage it just vibrates. In the product description it states "Invigorating Vibration Massage". I wouldn't call the "massage" invigorating. The material is very soft. This is a very inexpensive product and you really get what you pay for.

3 out of 5 stars More like a vibrator than a massager.   January 15, 2010

This foot "massager" doesn't exactly massage, it just vibrates and it actually feels kind of annoying on my feet, rather than relaxing. It is pretty warm, cozy, and soft when it is turned off, though. So, it makes for a great foot cozy but a terrible massager.
