The recipes in this book are less detailed and quicker to prepare than recipes in the first SOUTH BEACH DIET COOKBOOK, but still have marvelous flavor. We do not miss the sugar and the fat!

I have been loving this latest addition to south beach cookbooks. The standout recipes include bulgar eggplant lasagna, ham and peas spaghetti and flourless raspberry chocolate cake. All amazing!!

Many of the reciepies are very fast. I had to put the pasta on before the Scampi it was so quick. I really like this cookbook! After purchasing the first cookbook and preparing consistently delicious meals from it, I had to have this one! Like most of us, I am extremely busy with three boys under 5 and a husband who works all the time. These dishes are quick and delicious and healthy - the Shrimp Scampi is DIVINE and took me 10 minutes to prepare Chicken. I only wish that that more of the reciepies were for smaller groups of people as it is a pain to have to recalculate everything. I finally started writing it right in the book.

I have several of the South Beach Diet Cookbooks, but this one truly is my favorite because the meals go together quickly, ingredients are inexpensive, and every recipe I have prepared is colorful and visually appealing as well as delicious and satisfying.
