yummy July 14, 2010 Richard W. Poundstone I made the angel hair pasta with walnuts and peas.
I do not eat meat and did not think this sounded all that good. Garlic I only eat sparingly. I followed the recipe exactly.
I can't think of anything I have ever eaten that was more delicious. Had you served this to me and asked me what was in it, other than peas I would not know. Did not taste the garlic or the walnuts.
Just yummy

The Meal Plans are ridiculous. I can not imagine that a normal person could follow this "regime". Perhaps Oprah would endorse as she has a personal chef who would be able to dole out another half cup of grapes. This is exactly why the someone who is trying to lose weight failes
BOB GREENE THE BEST LIFE COOKBOOK December 22, 2009 Charles A. Hess This book offers not only good recipes but good information about the foods we eat. Having a good quantity of recipes well illustrated in a format easy to access and use. I highly recommend this Cookbook for people interested in creating healthful eating habits.
Matter of preferance October 2, 2009 mk (florida) I enjoyed this book. My sister in law couldn't get past the sassy water. Good recipes. Bought book for my daughter, also, who found the food required for making recipes too expensive.
I LOVE exotic food cookbooks! July 8, 2009 B. Healy (Chicago, IL United States) I *LOVE IT* when reviewers criticize a book for being "too exotic" or "using ingredients my grocery doesn't carry" because that is EXACTLY the kind of book I LOVE!!!! So, THANK YOU to those who dissed it, for steering me in the right direction as I am one of those who crave this kind of unusual food. While it's true that we have no kids living with us (they live with their mother) when they visit, they eat what we serve, even if that is rice pasta in a roasted red pepper sauce or pork with wild fennel pollen and orange rind.
I have just ordered this book and can't wait to receive it!
