5 out of 5 stars Suits my needs   September 5, 2010
Erica M. Sealy (Barbados)
If you are looking for a product that will give you results without the intensity to leave you exhausted at the end of a work out - this is the one.

I have a busy schedule but I love exercising. I did not want to sacrifice this aspect of my life so I decided to look for something that would allow me exercise in short bursts and still achieve results.

What I love about these dvds is that you can mix and match to tailor your workout needs. That rocks!!!

Some people complain that the background and music is boring but that does not bother me.

At the end of the day you have to engage in an exercise routine to suit your needs.

5 out of 5 stars will work your abs   August 25, 2010

Great ab workout, that is primarily the one that I use, nice that it has the mix of pilates and core sculpt. Haven't used the upper body or leg workouts yet but may in the future.

I purchased this collection for my 17 year old granddaughter. She tells me she likes the collection and is using it to work out twice a day. She likes the individual short sessions that she can put together in different ways.

5 out of 5 stars Intense workouts, I can stay in shape at home!   July 7, 2010

I have a 6 month-old at home, and I have come to realize that going to the gym is a fantasy that is not going to happen. However, I have since become the Queen of working out at home videos, and have lost 15 lbs in addition to all my pregnancy weight! Of course eating healthy and lack of sleep (I work full-time) have contributed to this, but I do workout videos every day, religiously. The core fusion series is my top choice. I usually do at least two, if not four 10-minute workouts (depends on how long the baby is asleep). I always am sore the next day and feel great after the workout. I have always been in very good shape, running 10K's, etc. and believe me, these workouts are challenging. Love them!

This has been an interesting workout so far as it is very different from other core strength dvds. The instructors emphasize slow, repetitive movements. One movement and its variations can consume the entire 10 minute segment alone, and similar movements appear segment after segment, which means that there isn't much to be said about fun or entertainment in this series. All of the exercises are challenging, which is a welcome deviation from the sometimes basic pilate type dvds. I feel the effect during, after, and the next day. The instructors are fine - they hold cheesy smiles a little too often for my taste, but their level of fitness is admirable and inspiring. I'd certainly recommend this series to anyone looking to push their (already solid) strength training further, but with the caveat that they should probably have a few other exercise options that they really like in order to stay motivated.
